New York Bridal Fashion Week Was Fah-bu-less

New York Bridal Fashion Week

The bridal industry came together to view major designer's F/W 2018 collections.

As you can guess, it was a flurry of tulle, sequins, beading, and more tulle. This year's shows brought some new perks, though: feathers, fringe, and modern jumpsuits in not only white, but blush, too. There were plenty of traditional looks, to be sure, and they'll remain the most popular with brides in general. But it was a breath of fresh air as models paraded down the runway in lingerie-like sheer sheaths reminiscent of Art Deco aristocrats, followed by gender stereotype-defying chic jumpsuits.

Here are some of our favorite NYBFW runway moments.

Marchesa, Theia, Ines Di Santo, Reem Acra, and nearly all other major bridal designers presented their 2018 fall and winter bridal collections in spectacular shows and presentations. There's a great collection of photos from the shows here, or you can visit the designer's individual websites to view complete collections.
